T-town trip

A trip to Tucson !!

So normally you all get to hear from Chris but I thought I would give this blogging thing a try:) These are pictures from our weekend in Tucson. We had such a great weekend and Ellsie LOVED meeting her cousins.

Right when we arrived Abby, Brandon, and Ryan were so excited to greet their new cousin. All six hands eagerly welcomed her into the family.

Ellsie was like the shiny new toy to play with. Brandon and Abby always wanted to hold her and Abby liked reading books to her. Can you believe Abby is reading? Abby is going to be such the big sis to Ellsie!! She loves taking care of her already.

For the first time we got to meet Lilly Fritz. She is so stinking cute! I bet it is weird for the Tucson crew to see Joel and Chris standing next to eachother with their daughters. Joel and Chris have been friends since high school and now looking at this picture they must fell pretty old.

Ellsie and I were watching Brandon and Abby put on a little show for us in Grammy and Pops room. Abby took a little break to check on Ellsie.

No matter where Chris was Brandon was sure to follow. Brandon kept Chris very busy last weekend. They played basketball, had multiple races, read books, jumped off the fireplace, sword fighting, and a squirt gun fight.

Well, if this isn't a little mini Chris! No matter who meets Ellsie, they all say the same thing "she looks so much like Chris." And yes, we know she has his hair cut:) While this picture is cropped, Ellsie is actually laying inside of Abby's hula hoop. It is my personal belief that you are never too young to learn how to hula hoop.

This was a very special 1st mothers day for me. We started the day out all together around the breakfast table. All of us mothers opened gifts. Ellsie and Chris bought me a beautiful necklace with an E on it. I LOVE it so much! Later that day Abby treated Mandy and me to a fabulous manicure. We got top notch treatment all day.

We loved spending every minute with our family. As always Grammy & Pops took such good care of us. Debby made me a wonderful birthday dinner of crab legs and steak with cherry pie for desert. My favorite:)
