So, I know it has been a while since we have last updated our blog but I hope to be better about it now that life has calmed down a bit:) The past two months have been a whirl wind between the new baby coming and our GIANT move from Colorado to California. We received an offer on our house in March with one catch... they needed us out in 3 WEEKS!!! We had already planned a trip 10 of those days so our packing time was limited. But like everything else in life it worked out and we headed out to California. But not without saying goodbye to some of our closest friends.
Our last GOODBYES:(
We met up at On the Boarder and enjoyed a Sunny evening out on the porch. Colorado gave us beautiful weather for a little goodbye gift:)

Chris and CJ. Watching Carson and Chris together has made me so excited to have a little boy! Carson wants to wear what Chris is wearing and wants to call him Bury, like all the other guy's. I love it!!!!
My book club BESTIES! What a wonderful gift the Lord gave me when he brought book club into my life. I will miss all out our "book" discussion with Deena and Cheryl.
California: A Hard Adjustment... Right :)

First things first, get E to the beach. Chris had bronchitis during the move and then he was so busy moving us he didn't get to spend much time with his little darling. As soon as the first weekend came up he spent the day with Ellsie at the beach. She LOVES the water. Like everything else, she is not scared of the waves at all.
We spend many afternoons out at the pool. Ellsie will jump right in, she thinks she can swim. We are trying to teach her how to blow bubbles but mostly she tries to drink the water and then just laughs. I really hope to get her in swim lessons soon.
Lessons Learned In California
Like all one year olds in Orange County Ellsie has learned to TEXT! Right now cell phones provide large moments of entertainment. We got such a kick chasing her around trying to get a picture of her "TEXTING."
Ellsie has adjusted well to life here with grandparents. She is spoiled non stop when they are around... should be fun for me when we get our own place:)
But for now she couldn't be LOVED more.
A Very Sad Goodbye

My CO Besties that I will miss so much. XOXO
To our friends in Colorado that we LOVE so much. We are going to miss you all and the joy you have brought us these past 4 years. We had no idea that Colorado would bring so many GREAT memories. Don't worry, we will be out there soon to hit up the mountain! I can't take another season without SNOWBOARDING!!! Love you all so much.
